गणित·The Math Engine
A reading rests on the math underneath. If the math wobbles, every interpretation built on top wobbles with it. astromanas's engine is the steady ground — the same chart on every device, every cast, every recompute. The shastra-school you read in stays your own.
Before a reading can mean anything, the math must mean nothing. Two astrologers asking astromanas the same question of the same birth get the same answer. Not because we tuned it that way — because the math doesn't have opinions.
Accuracy is the first virtue of a chart. astromanas keeps that virtue. The engine sits on Swiss ephemeris underneath, with sidereal positions verified across a dense test matrix that runs on every recompute. Every invariant we know about is checked. Every cast is reproducible.
What this means for you: you stop thinking about whether the chart is right. The kundli draws the same way at every magnification — D1 to D60, every divisional chart consistent with the next. The dashas roll forward to the second. The strengths add up to themselves. You spend your attention on the reading, not on the engine.
And when an invariant fails — if it ever did — the chart refuses to render rather than mislead. The engine would rather be silent than wrong.

“Reproducibility is the first virtue of a chart. astromanas keeps that virtue.”
When you open a chart, the inventory is already there — every placement, every strength, every yoga, every dasha. You are not waiting for the engine; the engine is waiting for you.
A
Where the bodies sit, and how.
Lagna, the nine grahas, the lunar nodes — each with their sidereal sign, nakshatra, pada, and dignity state on the full nine-state ladder. Combustion. Planetary war. Aspects in classical drishti.
grahas · lagna · nakshatra · pada · dignity · combustion · drishti
B
Sixteen lenses on one chart.
Every classical varga from D1 to D60 — each its own chart, each reading one life-area. Vargottama where a planet holds its sign across D1 and D9. Vimshopak Bala that rolls the sixteen together into one composite verdict.
D1 · D2 · D3 · D7 · D9 · D10 · D12 · D16 · D20 · D24 · D27 · D30 · D40 · D45 · D60
C
Whether a placement can deliver.
Shadbala for each planet, six-fold strength weighed against a required minimum. Bhavbala for each house. Ashtakavarga with its classical invariants. So the chart tells you not only what is there, but whether it has the strength to act.
Shadbala · Bhavbala · Ashtakavarga · invariant-verified
D
Time at every depth.
Multiple dasha systems running in parallel — Vimshottari at multiple levels, Yogini, others on the roadmap. The current period at every level visible at once. You see where the chart is, not just where it has been.
Vimshottari · Yogini · Ashtottari · Chara · vartamana indices
E
What the placements form when they meet.
The full classical yoga library scanned on every chart — Raja, Dhana, Nabhasa, Pancha-Mahapurusha, destiny-defining, Vipareeta Raja, Yogakaraka, Mangalik. Each formed yoga is named, classified by strength, cited to the verse that defines it.

F
The chart against the day.
The live gochara — every transit happening right now against the natal chart. The day's panchang at your location and timezone — tithi, nakshatra, yoga, karana, vara. Rahu kaal and the auspicious windows. Always current, never cached stale.
transits · panchang · muhurta · Rahu kaal · Abhijit · Varshaphal
Vedic astrology is not one tradition. It is several — different ayanamshas, different house systems, different dasha schools. The engine carries the discipline. You set the school. Pick once in Settings, override per chart when you need to.
A · ayanamsha
अयनांश
Lahiri is the default. Raman and Krishnamurti are there too. Others on the roadmap. The math respects whichever school you read in.
B · houses
भाव
Whole Sign by default. Sripati Chalit always available as an overlay. The kundli draws the way your school draws it.
C · dashas
दशा
Vimshottari is on by default. Toggle Yogini, Ashtottari, Chara on per chart. Pick the dasha you trust; turn off the ones you don't.
D · vargas
वर्ग
All sixteen on by default. Trim to the subset you actually read — D1, D9, D10, D60 alone if that's your school. The chart respects your subset.
“Set your school once. The engine will keep that school for every chart you cast after that day. Change your mind on a single chart — override at cast time. The math follows you.”
Accuracy first. Then the agents that draft the reading. Then the events that calibrate it. Then your own observations carried forward. Four minds on every chart — and the slate underneath holds them all.
